This Santa is hand carved and hand painted by the artist to enhance details in the Santa, his costume and the stump that he is sitting on! Santa's chair is made from two pieces of wood and is painted to look like a tree stump - you can even see the wood grain through the paint! His costume is brightly painted with yellow flowers and green leaves. This statue is lightly lacquered so it is easily cleaned and protected. This statue is made from several solid pieces of wood. The solid linden wood is dried for almost 2 years before it is carved so it will last a lifetime. Linden wood was once used to make drafting boards because it is so stable once it is properly dried. It does not warp, change shape, or crack and this artistic piece will bring enjoyment for a lifetime! (Please Note: These are not molded or mass produced as are some molded resin Santas from China.
