The largest doll has MARY, JOSEPH and BABY JESUS in His manger. the next doll shows the ANGEL watching over the entire birth. the third doll is THE 3 WISE MEN or MAGI bearing their gifts to honor the baby JESUS. The next doll is of THE SHEPHERDS and the last doll is of the DONKEY AND A LAMB who were no doubt there in the stable on that historic night. This beautiful nesting set is made in Sergei Posad, Russia and is carefully crafted from Linden wood and is signed by the artist.  The largest doll measures just under 7.5 inches tall while the smallest doll measures just over 2 inches tall!
