This beautiful burgundy hand painted Russian Nutcracker Christmas tree ornament is wonderfully hand crafted and hand painted with a great deal of detailed painting both on the front and back. This Nutcracker ornament has a mouth that opens and closes! (See the pictures of the mouth opened and closed.)  Each and every ornament is made in Sergei Posad, Russia and is hand painted (all the way around) on Linden wood. The linden wood is dried completely before the item is made. (Note: These are not mass produced molded resin from China. All our Russian Santas and Tree Ornaments are hand painted and handcrafted from Linden Wood) This nice sized ornament measures approximately 4.75 inches tall from the top of his feather to the bottom of his feet, is 2.1 inches across, and is approximately .5 of an inch thick.
